Just kidding. But our work sites will be dusty and dirty. For volunteers who’ll be working on houses, gardens, playgrounds and other spots around the neighborhood, we recommend you pack the following:
The essentials...
- Water container/nalgene bottle(s)
- Plate/utensils
- Close toed-shoes
- Long pants
- Flashlight
For safety’s sake (if you have them)...
- Safety glasses/goggles
- Work gloves
- Hard hat
Tools & more (optional, if you can bring them – and not for carry-on!)...
- Hammers
- Paint brushes
- Wire brushes
- A flathead nail puller
- Gardening tools
