How do I register?

Do I need previous experience in construction or landscaping?

No, Historic Green does not require previous construction or landscaping experience. We can always use more skilled help too!

Is it unusual for people to come by themselves?

No, we have many individual volunteers come to our event and have a fulfilling experience. And we also have large groups that join us.

How long can I come for?

You can come for the entire event or any portion of it. We think that you'll need at least two days to get a full experience, and in general, the more the merrier.

Where can I find information on travel?

Volunteers provide their own travel to, from and around New Orleans.

Where can I find information on hotels or other places to stay while in New Orleans?

Volunteers provide their own accomodations while working with Historic Green.
